FIRE RESTRICTIONS

Effective July 20, 2010

*Fire Danger Is Extreme


The Following Land Use & Fire Restrictions Apply

No Off-road
No Off-Road Riding
No Campfires
No Camp Fires
No Burn Barrels
No Burn Barrels
No BBQs
No Briquette Barbecue's
No Fireworks
No Fireworks

* No Fireworks

* No Camp Fires

* No Burn Barrels

* No Brush Burning Or Debris Burning

* Use Of Motorized Vehicles, Including Motorcycles And Atv's Is Prohibited, Except On Improved Roads

* Rifle Range Is Closed, No Shooting

* Cutting of dried and cured grass with a weed eater with plastic line is allowed. Have fire extinguisher, and water close at hand.

* Mowing of dried and cured grass with power driven equipment & use of chain saws is prohibited, between the hours of 10:00 am and 8:00 pm with a 1 hour fire watch.

* No Briquette Barbecue's

* No Open Fire Or Flame Allowed Except Propane As Follows :

  • Propane Barbecue
  • Propane Log Campfire's Are Allowed if they are registered with the Three Rivers Fire District.

Burning of any other fuel in a propane log campfire is not allowed and is in violation of fire restrictions. (propane log campfire's sites must be approved through the Three Rivers Fire District. Please contact them at 541-771-0992)

 

PROHIBTED FIRE ACTIVITES INCLUDE:

 •  FIREWORKS

 •  BURNING OF AUTOS & TIRES. 

•  STRCTURE BURNING * INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

TRAILIER'S, CAMPERS, RV'S, AND ANY BUILDING. 

•  OPEN FIELD BURNING / DEBRIS BURNING

* GRASS AREAS & BRUSH AREAS.

 • WOOD STOVES & OTHER WOOD APPLIANCES FOR ENCLOSED FIRE'S:

  • A) USED FOR HEATING A HOME ARE ALLOWED
  • B) USED OUTSIDE AS A COOKING SOURCE OR AS A HEAT SOURCEARE NOT ALLOWED WHEN OPEN BURNING RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT.
